Cinnamon and Yogurt as a Remedy against Diabetes, Obesity and Cholesterol!

Cinnamon and yogurt for losing weight

Cinnamon is a spice with healing properties that people are familiar with for quite some time. It is often bought as a powder and as such is the most suitable for consuming, but should be mixed into a drink or food. One option is precisely the mixture of cinnamon and yogurt.

It is important to use low-fat yogurt and quality ceylon cinnamon, and not the cassia cinnamon.

Cinnamon reduces blood sugar

Some studies have shown that 1\2 teaspoon of cinnamon per day can reduce blood sugar levels, especially when it comes to diabetes type 2. Some of these studies have confirmed the positive effects of cinnamon on cholesterol and triglycerides.

Thus, cinnamon has become renowned as a cure against diabetes and cholesterol.

It is known that cinnamon is added in cakes and various other sweets and there is a beneficial mixture with honey – which must not be consumed by diabetics, so cinnamon in yogurt is the perfect combination. You can add some fruits or cereals, according to what your health allows.

The diet with honey and cinnamon is more famous than yogurt-cinnamon diet. This diet lasts 10 days:

Every morning for breakfast drink 200 ml of yogurt with half a teaspoon cinnamon. In yogurt add a handful of cereal or fruit.

Lunch is as usual but do not exaggerate.

For dinner again drink 200 ml of yogurt and half teaspoon of cinnamon, but this time without anything in it.

During the diet you should drink lots of water and be physically active.

This combination is also used externally for skin care of the face.
